Hello and thank you for stopping by my page! I am a family and fine art photographer based in Amersham, Buckinghamshire.

Photographs are such an important part of family life because they tell the stories of who we are and where we came from. I was first given a camera when I was about 6 or 7 and learned to use it from my dad, following him around taking pictures of steam trains! It’s been a lifelong hobby but it wasn’t until 2015, when I had given up my career as a secondary school English teacher to be at home with my three children, that I started to take it more seriously.

Nearly all of my images are taken in very ordinary places and record very ordinary moments – at home using natural window light, in the garden or on the street outside our house. Most of all I want my children to have something to look back on that shows them just how much they were loved, something which seems especially important on the days when I am not finding being a mum very easy!

As well as working on a variety of personal projects I take on a number of client sessions each year. I specialise in relaxed family storytelling sessions and you can find more details on the following pages. My work has received recognition in international child photography competitions, been awarded by the UK professional body The Guild of Photographers, featured in ‘Click’ and ‘Dear Photographer’ magazines and on a number of blogs. I am a ClickPro member with ClickinMoms, a forum for female photographers, and also an Advanced member of Amersham Photographic Society where my image ‘Waiting Between Stations’ won print of the year 2016-17.

To see more of my work and keep up-to-date with new projects you can follow my Instagram and Facebook pages. Or to book a family session email contact@annabradleyphotography.co.uk.

I look forward to hearing from you!

Anna
